Datasheet: Bucket Elevator Buckets

Description & Use

Tapco, high quality American Elevator buckets are supplied in fabricated steel, nylon, urethane and polyethylene in all sizes required. These buckets will fit your elevator anywhere in the world. Select the correct bucket to suit the material you're handling. Urethane buckets have exceptional wear qualities while nylon buckets are extremely strong yet lightweight.

Advantages

Consistent profile shape assures uniform discharge characteristics.

Perfect fit to direct interchange and replacement of existing steel buckets. No modifications are required.

Tested and proven design allow a direct, compact discharge path for improved, high speed performance.

Increased safety: Non-metallic buckets eliminate the possibility of sparking from bent and torn steel buckets.

Ease of installation: Lighter weight aids in mounting buckets and reduces load on belt and running components. Non-metallic materials eliminate hazardous sharp edges of steel buckets.

Preventing backlegging: Straight sided designs helps end costly backlegging.

Tough & flexible: Injection moulded polyethylene yields to bypass obstructions in the elevator and allows the bucket to return to its original shape.

Un-equalled strength: Thick walls and high impact polyethylene provide exceptional strength.

Accurate reliable capacity ratings: Equal or greater carrying capacity of equivalent size steel buckets. A rounded front lip aids in filling of bucket.

Increased production: Engineered designs allow closer bucket spacing for more product throughput per hour.

Cost efficient: Prime virgin non-metallic materials give unsurpassed bucket life for maximum return on investment.

Bucket selection guide:

Heavy duty Prime virgin polyethylene

Use for grains, feeds, fertilizer, seeds, salt, sand, chemicals & food products

Features: Outstanding impact & abrasion resistance, tough and more rigid than polyethylene and urethane, better heat resistance, non-sparking, non-corrosive.

Heavy duty Prime virgin thermoplastic Urethane

Use for pelletized or extruded feeds, soybeans, fertilizers, oyster shell, salt, sand, chemicals and other abrasive products.

Features: Extreme abrasion resistant, tough & flexible, tick walls, light weight, clean discharge, less product damage, reduce back-legging, non-sparking, non-corrosive.

High quality belting and fasteners complement these world class elevator buckets.
